How Australia Bushfires Changing Climate?

Global warming is not a new problem on this planet. Many scientists and researchers have been warning us for decades about climate change and its impact on extreme weather conditions. All these changes in weather are just because of human actions. Last week South Australia faces intense bushfires which affected around 5 million hectors, killed 18 people and destroyed more than 1000 homes. Billion of animals in wildlife died because of these bushfires which are very horrific.

Impact of climate change on wildfires

Almost all people say these wildfires are manmade fires. Over the last couple of decades, the climate of the earth has diversified in drastic ways. Unfortunately we humans are not giving this much importance and its consequences we are facing in the form of bushfires, melting of glaciers, etc. Scientists have also warned that in Iceland around a billion ices are melting every day just because of global warming. It can cause serious health issues and will diminish the water. Nasa has also revealed that a Fire breathing storm known as Pyrocumulonimbus also damaging the earth’s stratosphere. All these thunderstorms and increasing storms and bush fires increasing the temperature on the earth and warming the climate. Due to this climate change, wildfires just like Bushfires worsen the intensity of fires. That is why it became hard to control them and as Flannigan said it is impossible for a human to put out.

Wildfires changing weather systems

Today Australia’s average temperature has increased to above 40 degrees and the intensity is still going up. Seasonal wildfires activities in California, Australia and ample fuels, dry weather all are transforming the weather systems on the planet. Today we are facing extreme weather conditions as human-induced climate change. Current bushfires in Australia also indicating the long term consequences and today we are facing in the form of huge temperature variability every year.

Bushfires killed half a billion animals

From the last couple of months, bushfires have affected the lives of animals in a drastic way and around a billion animals have died since the fire burst out. One of the most iconic animals Koala also has been affected badly. According to the government of Australia, it contributed to $1.1billion to $2.5 billion every year in tourism. Officials have also reported that 30% of the country’s mammals have died. Up to 30% of Koalas have also died in this fire. Due to such a number of deaths of animals in a couple of months; there are enormous consequences on the life of animals and humans as well.

Impact on human health

Alongside other species and mammals, humans are mostly affected by these man-made fires, and unfortunately, humans are the main cause of such fires and climate change. To protest against these climate crises school children also came out of their schools in April 2019 and demanded to save the planet from such crises.

A quick review

We humans have done so much on this planet that it is becoming hard for living every passing moment. Wars also cause carbon dioxide emissions in the air which leads to some kind of climate change. Today it’s not the time to think to take certain actions, in fact, it’s the time to take such actions right away which can help us to stop the climate change and humans live on the earth.
